I live in North Dakota USA. This is a place that gets less than average sunshine during the year, due to cloudy weather. I have a good friend here whose company I enjoy tremendously as he’s an intellectual I can discuss anything with. His hobby: astronomy somewhat overlaps interests of my own, in celestial navigation. This isn’t even closely related to my background, but as a scientist, I have more interests than time. As a result, we have had lots of fun with his telescopes, working late into the nights. My friend is also interested in meteorology and he has an electronic weather monitoring system that he tracks. Here again, our interests cross over as my interest in sailing has led me to studying weather quite thoroughly. I have some high quality nautical weather instruments in my living room, and I immediately recognized the quality in your all brass instrument cases as being hand made using the technique of metal spinning. The beauty of these brass housings is hard to top - very nice work gentlemen! As I like to say, it is made with blood and heart, which is rare today. And so it came about that I decided to get one of your Tabic lunar clocks, black background with the oak backing, as a surprise gift for my dear friend here. The expression on his face when he opened the box was priceless. He absolutely loved his gift and it didn’t take him long to insert a battery and set the clock precisely by internet websites that track the lunar cycle. He told me he looks at it daily and appreciates it as our cloudy weather makes it hard to visually keep up with the moon’s phases. Gentlemen, you have gained an admirer of your beautiful products, while I gained the enjoyment of giving my friend something he truly appreciates, daily.
Best wishes, Tom Subirge - MSBS
