Handmade Solid Brass Tide Clock
Handmade Traditional Solid Brass Tide Clock – Your Window to the Coastal Tides
Make the most of life by the sea with our Handmade Solid Brass Tide Clock – an elegant, easy way to see high and low tides at a glance, with no tide tables or apps needed.
Born on the shores of Morecambe Bay, each TABIC tide clock carries 30 years of family clockmaking heritage – timeless, authentic, and handmade to last a lifetime.
Crafted from 1.5 mm solid brass – the highest grade that can be turned by hand – this tide clock’s case alone weighs half a kilo, giving a tangible sense of substance and craftsmanship. Designed to withstand humid, salty coastal air for decades, it’s perfect for coastal homes, beach cottages, boats and yachts, and for sailing enthusiasts and sea lovers.
Protected by ultra-clear tempered glass, the precision quartz tide movement follows the 12-hour 25-minute lunar cycle – your essential companion for sailing, fishing, or seaside walks along the Atlantic coast, whenever knowing the tide is vital. Set it once when the tide at your nearest coast is high – the clock does the rest.
A standalone piece of functional art, this nautical wall clock features a timeless solid brass design inspired by traditional ship clocks. It’s made to be a striking focal point in any space, blending beautifully with both classic and modern interiors.
Enhance its presence with our optional handmade English oak mount – available for wall or mantel display and crafted locally by our woodturner from sustainably sourced oak – creating a refined marriage of traditional British craftsmanship and natural materials.
When you choose a TABIC tide clock, you join our family – we stand behind every timepiece with a 1-year warranty, full repair and service support, and the personal customer care we pride ourselves on.
Because we build each clock individually, we can personalise it with engraving of your choice during production – a special touch for life’s milestones and meaningful occasions: birthdays, weddings, retirements, or a distinguished corporate gift carrying a note of British maritime heritage.
Let this handmade solid brass tide clock connect you to the eternal ebb and flow of the sea – every day, always.

Product Guide
HOW TO SET YOUR TIDE CLOCK
- Obtain your local tide table and calendar with full moon information.
- Look up the time of today's high tide.
- Set your tide clock at high tide with the hand pointing straight up. Please
- note that the hand turns slowly (similar to the hour hand on a clock.)
- Insert your battery (1 x AA )
On the day of the next full moon, check the accuracy of the high tide time and reset if necessary. Do not re-adjust for winter/summer time.
Setting the clock on the Full Moon will achieve the minimum “error" throughout the whole month. Usually the discrepancy will be less than 30 minutes and therefore will be unnoticeable, although one or two days at the first and last quarter moon may have a greater difference.
Variations equalise during each lunar month so only check or verify its accuracy at the full moon.
MOUNTING YOUR TIDE CLOCK
- A mounting hole in the back allows you to mount your clock on a single nail screw.
A Tide clock allows you to 'sea at a glance’ what state the tide is at, whether it is coming in or going out and the time remaining before low and high tide.
