Mariner MKII Handmade Prestige Barometer With Jet Black Dial Mounted on an English Dark Oak Mantel/Display Mount
Handmade Prestige Solid Brass Barometer with Jet Black Dial on English Dark Oak Mantel Display
Meet the Mariner MKII — our newest design and build, available exclusively in our online store. Re-engineered from the ground up for greater precision, refinement and durability, it’s rooted in 30 years of family clockmaking heritage — built for lifetimes and serviceable for generations.
Handmade in England, this barometer is crafted in a robust 1.5 mm solid brass case, with a reassuring weight that immediately conveys quality. A bold jet black dial, set against a mirrored aluminium backplate, brings a distinctly modern edge to a form inspired by traditional maritime instruments.
With a 155 mm diameter and 50 mm depth, it delivers an instant, intuitive reading of the weather — no apps, no forecasts required. Behind the ultra-clear domed tempered glass lens, the traditional aneroid pressure mechanism tracks subtle changes in atmospheric pressure, helping you anticipate fair weather or unsettled conditions just as sailors and coastal dwellers have trusted for generations.
The barometer is presented on a solid dark English oak mantel display, locally turned from sustainably sourced wood and finished by hand. Designed for desks, shelves and mantelpieces, the combination of polished brass and deep-stained oak creates a refined expression of British craftsmanship — echoing the ship’s instruments once found in captains’ cabins and chart rooms.
When you choose a TABIC barometer, you become part of our story. Every piece is backed by a 1-year warranty, full repair and service support, and the personal customer care we pride ourselves on as a family-run business.
Because each barometer is made individually, engraving can be added during production, making it a meaningful gift for birthdays, weddings, retirements, housewarmings or distinguished corporate occasions.
Whether displayed in a yacht cabin, coastal home, study or maritime-inspired interior, the barometer is more than a weather instrument. It is functional art — a refined statement piece that rewards daily use and quietly elevates its surroundings.
